Join us for Christmas at Pip & Jim’s

At Christmas, heaven and earth meet. Angels sing, a star rises, and in the ordinary life of a newborn child, God comes to dwell among us. Our theme this year is Let Heaven and Nature Sing, and we’d love you to join us.

Come and sing at Beer and Carols or at Carols by Candlelight, or join us for one of our Christmas services. We are buying 100 Christmas gifts for local children who otherwise would not receive anything, and on Christmas Eve from 10am you can help us to prepare vegetables for our free Christmas Day lunch.

Whoever you are, wherever you’ve come from, whatever has happened in your life, there is a place for you here this Christmas.

  • Advent Carol Service

    Sunday 6h December 6pm.

    A service of anticipation, reflection and hope, as we look towards the celebration of Jesus’ birth.

  • Teatime Church - Scratch Nativity

    Sunday 13h December, 4pm.

    Christmas for all the family - come and join the story! Followed by a picnic tea.

  • Beer and Carols

    Saturday 19th December 6pm.

    Carols, Christmas cheer and a drink together, accompanied this year by our local ukulele band, The Leckie Strummers.

  • Carols by Candlelight

    Sunday 20th December 6pm.

    A service of Carols, readings and poems, by candlelight. Mulled wine and mince pies to follow.

  • Blue Christmas

    Monday 21st December, 7pm.

    A gentle, reflective service for those who find Christmas difficult.

  • Family Crib Services

    Thursday 24th December, 3pm and 5pm.

    A joyful dramatic retelling of the Christmas story for children and families.

  • Midnight Mass

    Thursday 24th December, 11pm.

    A traditional midnight service to welcome Christmas together

  • Christmas Day Communion

    Friday 25th December 8am.

    A gentle start to Christmas Day. A short, said communion service.

  • All Age Christmas Day Service

    Friday 25th December, 10am.

    A joyful Christmas morning celebration with communion.

  • Christmas Lunch

    Friday 25th December.

    A free lunch for anyone who wishes to join us - no one needs to spend Christmas Day alone. Please book your space via Concerts and Events.
