  • Pilates with Amy

    Pilates class starting Monday 3rd June 10:45-11:45 at St. Philip & St. James Church Leckhampton.

    This will be a modern style Pilates class suitable for all abilities, including beginners. This class will make you feel and move better by:

    - Improving posture

    - Increasing range of movement of joints and flexibility of muscles

    - Strengthening the core muscles Book here

  • Style Pilates

    Style Pilates meets here Mondays 4.30-5.30pm and Wednesdays 4.15pm - 6.15pm (taught by Rachel)

    Style Pilates is taught by musculoskeletal physiotherapists. It is therefore suitable for almost everyone and can be used to increase flexibility and to alleviate pain and stiffness including but not limited to:

    Back pain, Sciatica, Neck pain, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, Ante and post natal problems

    Pilates can also promote wellbeing and good sleep. It’s ideal for any age from young adult upwards, and any ability and fitness level. All of our classes are mixed ability and fixed small numbers ensure you can see and be seen during classes.

  • Musicality

    Musicality is a welcoming, inclusive community choir, welcoming all adults who just want to sing! There is no experience necessary to join us. As a non-audition choir for adults, our emphasis is on the fun we have together, learning and performing a range of music together.

  • Charlton Kings Choral Society

    Charlton Kings Choral Society is a friendly choir of about 80 enthusiastic amateur singers. We sing popular choral classics, less frequently-heard works and contemporary commissions. Weekly rehearsals are enjoyable and rewarding, supported by our conductor, John Wright, and our accompanist, Fiona Brown. Cheltenham’s professional orchestra, the Regency Sinfonia, usually accompanies our twice-yearly concerts.

    Rehearsals are on Wednesdays 7.30 – 9.30 pm, at St Philip and St James’ Church, Grafton Road, Leckhampton.

  • Camelot Sunday Lunch

    A hearty two course Sunday lunch (often a roast joint) open to all, taking place once a month in Pip and Jims at 12.30pm following the morning Sunday service. A great opportunity to enjoy lunch with friends old and new.

    The £10 charge includes two courses with tea and coffee, payable on the day. Please contact the church office for more information on how to book your place at the next monthly lunch. Everyone is welcome.

  • Camelot Mid-Week Lunch

    A great opportunity to enjoy lunch with friends old and new. Every Wednesday, taking place in Pip and Jims at 12.30pm.

    There is always a hot main course, cheese and biscuits, cake and tea or coffee – all for just £6. Everyone is welcome to come along. You can just show up or contact the church office for more information.

  • Voices Rechoired

    Voices Re-Choired is a voluntary choir for people who love to sing in a friendly encouraging setting. We sing songs from the shows, pop music as well as some traditional folk music.

    There is no audition or the need to read music – it is weekly turn up and sing event and the cost per session is just £3. You would be most welcome to join us. For further information contact the church office: info@pipandjims.org.uk

  • South Chelt Youth

    Young people are welcome to attend all Sunday services at Pip and Jims. There is a youth group that meets during a Sunday service on the second and fourth Sunday of the month, during term time. This is an opportunity to engage in activities and conversations about faith with others of your own age. You are very welcome to join us.

  • Childrens Church

    We have a special session for children on Sunday mornings. Children's Church meets during the 10am Communion Service, usually on 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays. There are stories, games, crafts and snacks for children up to Yr 5. Parents or carers are welcome to stay if they would like to. The children return for Communion.

  • Little Pips

    Little Pips is our popular parent and baby/toddler group. £5 per session. We have a limited number of space, so we ask that you book in advance. To be added to email list, please contact the team here.

  • Church Choir

    We have a very active choir here at Pip and Jims. Leading us in worship most Sundays, and regulary at funerals and weddings. Rehearsals are on Friday evenings. Please contact the office for more information.

  • Eco Group

    Our Pip and Jims Eco Group are committed to safeguarding the integrity of Creation and to sustain and renew the life of the earth. We have recently achieved our Silver Eco Church Award.

  • Music Group

    The Music Group lead church worship on the first Sunday of the month at our all age service.

  • Community and Bible Study Groups

    We have a variety of groups that meet to socialise and do bible study. They are a great place to get plugged into the life of the church. For more information - contact the church office.

  • Flower Guild

    Each week a team of helpers arrange the beautiful flower arrangements throughout PIp and Jim’s. To join the group or for more information, contact the church office.

  • Gardening Group

    A team of gardeners make sure that the exterior of the church looks lovely whatever season we’re in. They’re always looking for more helpers so please contact the church office to volunteer.

  • Open the Book

    Members of our congregation lead worship and run ‘Open the Book’ sessions at school. We also welcome the school to church for Christmas, Easter and Harvest services.

  • Friendship Group

    The Bereavement and Loss friendship group was established in May 2022 with the objective of bringing people together, from the larger community, to share and support each other. The mission statement of confidentiality, listening, non judgement and compassion are key to our monthly meeting, facilitated by a qualified bereavement counsellor, for two hours in the Dove meeting room at Pip & jims.

    We meet on the first Thursday of the month from 10-12 noon, so if you would like to join us please contact the church office.

  • Bread Making Group

    2nd and 4th Fridays of the month and is open for guests between 2-4pm.
